Since October 2003, Fergus Lynch, editor of the Community Voice (the highly regarded local paper for Dublin 15) has for some odd reason indulged my scribblings. My thanks to him and to my wife Monica for her zealous use of the black marker!

Newsflash!!
Just to let anybody know that the first five years of Musings, plus a few added extras have been collected together and are available to order in a 284pp book from amazon, Barnes and Noble, Waterstones. Rough price is £6.99 Sterling plus p and p.
Ambrose Gwinnett Bierce the American satirist, short story and ghost story writer and journalist, known as "Bitter Bierce" said in a book review " The covers of this book are too far apart"
That statement could not be applied to this hilarious take on the everyday musings of a Dublin 15 literary giant.
This book was made to be read and read again. It offers up so many nuggets of humour, it is imposable to catch them all at one sitting.
Whilst reading at the breakfast table one morning, I laughed so much that milk came out my nose.
I am glad I got a copy of this book as I was going to buy a copy of The Power of Positive Thinking, and then I thought: What the hell good would that do?
This is not a novel to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force.
